Benelux Chamber Welcomes Fullsend for Strategic Business Trip
These past few days have been truly enriching, as the Benelux Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of welcoming and coordinating the visit of the innovative Belgian digital communication agency, Fullsend, for their first business trip in China.
A few weeks ago, Fullsend contacted us with a clear objective: to explore the Chinese market and gain insights into three key areas:
• Understanding the latest trends in information technologies
• Observing market dynamics in one of the world’s most fast-paced business environments
• Building meaningful connections with leading companies operating in China (such as Bytedance, Xiaohongshu, Alibaba Cloud, Baunat, Ageas…)
In response, the Benelux Chamber of Commerce immediately got to work with our network. We designed a tailor-made business immersion program that covered every detail. From high-level company visits and networking sessions to full logistical support (From Brussels all the way to Shanghai and back) and cultural experiences to ensure Fullsend’s first steps in China were as seamless and impactful as possible.
On April 8th, the Fullsend delegation, including its founders and partners, landed in Shanghai and officially kicked off their journey. Their first day began with a meeting at the Belgian Consulate General with Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT). The discussion focused on FIT’s experience supporting businesses in China, the legal framework for foreign companies, and emerging trends in technology and innovation. The day continued with lunch and meetings with Baunat Group and Darling Advertising, ending with the iconic Huangpu River Cruise. A scenic introduction to Shanghai’s skyline and business spirit.
Throughout the week, a series of focused meetings took place, during which our members and key opinion leaders shared valuable insights into the sectors Fullsend was exploring — including livestreaming strategies, digital marketing in China, consumer behavior, consulting practices, content personalization, and brand visibility.
A major highlight of the program was an exclusive visit to the ByteDance (TikTok) showroom. As one of only two official TikTok partners in Belgium, Fullsend was uniquely positioned to engage with ByteDance’s innovative ecosystem. The delegation received an in-depth look at the company’s rapidly evolving e-commerce platform, gaining valuable insights into how TikTok is shaping the future of digital content, marketing, and consumer engagement on a global scale.
Another key stop on the agenda was the RedNote showroom, perched on the 40th floor in the heart of Shanghai. RedNote, a leading force in China’s digital communication and entertainment sector, welcomed the delegation for an engaging presentation and high-level dialogue. As the platform continues to expand its global reach — especially amid recent developments surrounding TikTok regulation — this meeting offered strategic value and fostered a meaningful exchange between both teams. The Benelux Chamber was closely involved in facilitating this important visit.
To round off the week, Fullsend was officially introduced to the community at our Benelux Spring Drinks, a flagship networking event hosted at the Belgian Consulate and attended by over 130 participants. Alongside fellow new members such as Loop Earplugs, Fullsend presented a one-minute elevator pitch to share their mission and ambitions with the broader Benelux network. The evening served as an excellent opportunity for Fullsend to connect with professionals, potential partners, and fellow innovators — a strong conclusion to a week filled with exploration, dialogue, and discovery.
To wrap up the journey, Fullsend visited the impressive Alibaba Cloud’s “Silicon Valley” campus, a breathtaking complex in Hangzhou featuring the latest developments in cloud computing, data processing, AI, and digital infrastructure. The delegation gained valuable insight into Alibaba Cloud’s operations and its impact on the global tech and communications landscape.
Fullsend’s initial goals were to meet potential partners, connect with companies established in China, understand the tools and technologies that power digital communication, and explore the market and its trends. These objectives were all fully met. Through immersive experiences, knowledge sharing, and the dedicated involvement of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce and its network.
A heartfelt thank you to all our members and partners who contributed to making this program a success.
We’re proud to support Benelux companies like Fullsend in their journey to China, fostering meaningful connections, sharing strategic insights, and opening doors to new opportunities.
